Minimally Invasive Solutions in Interventional Radiology

I’ve been reflecting on the growing importance of minimally invasive techniques in our field, especially with how they can significantly improve patient outcomes. For instance, using ultrasound-guided procedures has reduced recovery times substantially for my patients, often allowing them to go home the same day. I’m curious to hear what innovative practices others have adopted recently.

Totally agree on the same-day discharge — it’s been a game changer for our outpatient procedures too. For example, we’ve had success with radiofrequency ablation that lets patients leave after just a couple of hours. I’m also curious how you’re managing post-procedure pain; it’s a delicate balance sometimes.
