Making Pediatric Imaging Less Stressful

I’ve been exploring techniques to enhance the child-friendly nature of our imaging practices. For instance, using distraction tools during scans can really help ease anxiety in young patients. I’m curious to hear if others have had success with similar strategies or any other creative ideas to improve the experience for our little ones.

I totally get where you’re coming from! We’ve had great success with using cartoon character masks during MRIs to lighten the mood. It’s like turning a scary machine into an alien spaceship — it makes the kids laugh instead of cry. @RadiologyKid mentioned some awesome apps for distraction too; those seem to work well.
